Summer Swim Camp
Adrienne makes lessons fun with all her special skills and encouragement. Casey did not like under the water, water getting into his eyes and ears, but it is no problem now. He has more confidence and with more practice will continue to improve.
Eddie had no great problems with the pool but had some bad habits and poor technique. So well improved with 5 days of lessons.
Younger Sister Autumn: Having had a previous traumatic experience, Autumn was not interested in learning to swim, but came along on the first day just to watch; half way through the lesson she asked if she could join the boys. Joined in the afternoon class and amazed both Adrienne and myself that she did so well! That was just through listening and watching Adrienne during the boys' first lesson. She is now so confident NO ARMBANDS, duckng and diving to the bottom. Did not feel that she wanted to go to the deep end, her wishes were respected as she had progressed so well, so as not to discourage her.
Thank you Adrienne, Yvonne, Lisburn (A Grateful Granny)
Success Quickly
My son had not progresssed much after two years at other lessons, but is now progressing very well, swimming several
different strokes, and confident in the deep end.
Nicola, Lisburn
My son now enjoys his lessons after several courses elsewhere. He is much more confident in the water, and has learnt several different stokes, plus has lot of fun in the deep end.

Private Family Lessons
My 2 children have made fantastic progress. They are so much more confident in the water and have amazed me in how much they have learnt in 6weeks of lessons! I'm delighted! (and so are they!)
Jacqueline.
Emma & Olivia have learnt more in 6 weeks than in 2 years of continuous classes in several other pools.
We wouldn't have imagined this rate of progress could be achieved in such a short space of time. From achieving 10m Breast Stroke, at the end of the 1st course, 100m Front Crawl + 200m Back Crawl, at the end of the 2nd and currently learning Butterfly + Tumble turns. Confidence, ability and great fun. What other way would you want to learn a life skill, with a great Coach.

Fear of Water due to a trauma:
Our daughter was involved in a tragic drowning accident when she was six years old. Fortunately, the excellent Medical Staff brought her back to life. Her fear of water was therefore intense. Over a period of time Adrienne was patient, caring and understanding with our daughter and worked with her to rebuild her confidence in the water. She loves swimming now and even scuba dives with confidence. To this day Adrienne has remained a family friend,

School Age Children
Adrienne Bell provided Swimming Lessons for both our girls when they were quite young and her tution was excellent. Adrienne brought a very professional and caring attitude to her work and was always patient in teaching the girls the fundamentals of swimming and safety in the water. Both girls became good swimmers under her tutilage and they thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

The Honeymoon - that very special holiday
Adrienne taught me to swim 2-3months before my wedding. From being a complete non-swimmer with a fear of water, Adrienne had me relaxed in the water and attempting Breast Stroke the first lesson. After a couple more lessons she had me doing Front Crawl and the next lesson after that, jumping off a diving board into the diving pool! This was due to the one-to-one tuition that was provided which would not have been available in a group setting. Being able to swim meant that I was able to enjoy my honeymoon so much more ranging from attempting to surf on Bondi Beach to snorkelling off the Great Barrier Reef.
Being able to swim has also be great since having my own children. I have been able to share in a lot more of their activities, eg, water parks on holidays and my wife and I regularly go to the pool with our children. I would urge everyone to learn how to swim with Adrienne's tuition.

Honeymoon Couple - July 2011
I learned of Adrienne through a friend, as Charlene and I wanted to Learn to Swim in time for our Honeymoon in July 2011. I had a very real fear of the water, and genrerally would not ever go near a pool! However, Adrienne got me relaxed in the water, and after the second session, I was floating in the pool and not holding on to the sides!! By the end of the third session Adrienne had us both swimming the Breast Stroke! If I had gone to a general class of approx 20 people, I would not have gone back after the first session - I definitely believe it was with Adrienne's help that I can now go to the pool and enjoy all the benefits of being able to swim. Charlene and I have had 4 lessons (to learn the Breast Stoke) but we will be going back to learn other ways to swim.

Post Card from KAIKOURA, New Zealand, with 3 Beautiful Dolphins on the front
Hello from New Zealand!! We are havintg a fantastic time - weather has been mostly good, but did get the end of the cyclone last weeek. I have become a bit of a 'Water Baby' - either practising my Breast Stroke in swimming pools or going for dips in the sea. But today was amazing - I actually jumped off a boat into the Pacific Ocean and swam with 'Dolphins' 'AWESOME!' Your teaching has given me so much confidence - I would never have done it before,
Thanks again, Love Andrea
To Adrienne

Session 1:
An incident when I was a young child meant that I have never learned to swim and the years simply drifted by. Now over 30yrs later and with three young children all mad to swim and enjoy the water, I have decided to (literally) take the plunge.
I have just completed my first private class with Adrienne and felt compelled to write a little piece about it. 'Apprehensive' would be a fairly apt word to describe my feelings before getting in the pool, especially since I have never so much as managed a swimming stroke in my lifetime!! However, as I left the hour long session with Adrienne after having started from scratch, I was able to swim from one side of the pool to the other using the Breast Stroke legs. I probably could have stayed for another hour as I felt the progress I made under Adrienne's guidance was staggering. Adrienne is very patient, and her teaching style is very easy to comprehend; I can't wait to get back for the next session and more importantly to see the looks on my children's faces when they see that Daddy can swim!!
I'll keep you updated,
Tom
From a Young Mum with 2 small Children
Hi Adrienne
I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you.
I had tried on many occasions, both with professional lessons and friends and family to learn to swim and had never been successful, so it was with great scepticism that I took my first few steps into the pool with you.
I am delighted to say that I was proved wrong, it was a great expericence and I am still somewhat in shock about the progress I made, I would never have believed I could swim at all, let alone in one lesson, I could have happily spent another hour with you!!
The gift of finally being able to swim with my children will be one that I will cherish forever.
Looking forward already to my next lesson,
Kind regards
Rosie
